Take care of those lips…
T.G.I.F!!! I don’t know about all of you, but this week has crawled by for me, and I am so happy it is Friday! My favorites this week are five of my favorite lip products as of late. From either color to formula, I have been loving these:
I absolutely love this! It is super moisturizing and leaves lips amazingly soft, which has been great for the dry, windy weather the Midwest has had as of late. But it is way more than a chapstick. In addition, it also gives a soft, lustrous shine. It almost looks like lip gloss, without being sticky. I think every women needs to have this. If you have been thinking about purchasing it, definitely go for it, worth every penny!
First, MAC lipsticks are great in general. The colors are highly pigmented and long-lasting, and the formula is moisturizing and never leaves lips dried out. Rebel is a deep berry color with red undertones. It is so pretty and I wear it all the time! I pair it with MAC’s Burgundy lip liner.
No color suggestion in particular for this one, just an all around great, luscious lipstick recommendation. I will say I find myself re-applying YSL lipsticks a bit more often than some others I have, but I love the glossy, and again moisturizing (noticing a theme here?) formula. And let’s be honest, you just can’t beat the packaging!
Impassioned is a bright, happy, nearly neon pink shade that I just cannot get enough of! It stays on forever, and depending on what liner you pair it with you can change the shade from being more of a bright pink to a coral shade. This is a great shade to get for this Spring and Summer. It is bold, but if you are thinking about trying a bright color, definitely try this one!
EOS’s slogan is the “evolution of smooth”, and that is exactly what this product delivers: smooth, soft lips. For a regular, every day chaptsick, I love this. I often put it on right before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning to make sure my lips are well moisturized already before I put color on. The best part? It is only $3!
Have a wonderful weekend!
